        武汉东湖新技术开发区成立于1988年，规划面积518平方公里，建有8个产业聚集园区，企业总数超过7万家。

        Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone was founded in 1988, with a planned area of 518 square kilometers,covering eight industrial parks,it has more than 70,000 enterprises.

“5+2”产业集聚“5+2” industrial system:

        5大主导产业：光电子信息、生命健康、节能环保、高端装备制造、高技术服务

        2大新兴产业：集成电路和新型显示、数字经济

        Five leading industries: optoelectronic information, life and health, environmental protection and energy conservation, high-end equipment manufacturing, high-tech services.

集聚40余家博士后工作站more than 40 Post-doctoral Research Stations：

        聚集了中国信科集团、长飞光纤、华工科技、锐科激光、人福医药、中国种子、光谷北斗、中冶南方等40余家国家级企业博士后科研工作站。

        The valley hosts more than 40 national enterprise postdoctoral research stations,including China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corp，Yangtze Optical Fiber and Cable，Huagong Tech。Raycus Fiber Laser, Humanwell Healthcare,China National Seed Group,Optics Valley Beidou，Wuhan Iron & Steel Design & Research Institute.
